I have heard a few different prophets saying that things will be worse in 2022 than in 2021. More shaking, persecution, etc. My husband and I shared a dream on YouTube a few months ago that he had about the shortages being worse than they are now. Recently, he had a dream about shortages in pharmaceutical and over the counter products and war. Jesus told us in Matthew 24 that the “birth pangs,” i.e. wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences (pandemics), earthquakes, etc. would get worse, as we get closer to the end of time and His returning. But, I would like to focus on the hope we have in Christ, during troubled times. The following is a dream that one of the members of our small group recently had.
She said she saw a clearing in the middle of a forest or wooded area. In this place, she saw three crows circling around a confederate jasmine bush. One of them had a vine with thorns in their beak.
The crows (similar to ravens) are typically a cruel bird that kills other small animals, etc. They can represent evil, but they are also what the Lord used to bring Elijah bread and meat in the morning and evening, during a 3.5 year famine in Israel (I Kings 17:1-6). In Luke 12:24, Jesus used ravens as an example of God’s provision. I think that this is a reminder that God is our provider, evening during shortages, etc. I believe the vine with thorns represented the curse of lack and unproductivity that came as a result of Adam and Eve’s disobedience (see Genesis 3:17-18). The world may be going through a time of famine, drought and lack, but we have to remember what God promised to those who follow Him. Psalm 34:10 says: “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” (NKJV). Psalm 37:18-19 says: “The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.” (NKJV)
In a positive sense, the vine also made me think of Jesus, fruitfulness and productivity. In John 15:5, Jesus said: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (NKJV). As followers of Christ, we live under the blessings of obedience. We are tied to the Lord’s economy, not the world’s. According to my dream symbology book, the confederate jasmine plant symbolizes the fragrance of God or the Holy Spirit. I believe the Lord is showing that even during hard times when you may feel isolated, the Lord will be with us and this is an opportunity to become more intimate with Him and experience new levels of the glory of His presence.
During the last two weeks, we were supposed to attend three funerals. We attended two and was supposed to attend a third one on Sunday, but was unable to because my husband had the flu. During the funeral on Saturday, I sensed the presence of the Lord as our pastor talked about how God gave Him peace during one of the worst trials of his life and prayed that the family would also experience that peace. Then before the dinner for the family, my husband was asked to say the blessing and again, I felt the wonderful presence of God. Even though we are going through hard times, I sense the glory and presence of God increasing and I believe we have entered into a time of harvest. God is drawing the prodigals and the lost to come home. God gives us light, even in dark times and peace in the midst of the storm. God bless you all.
In Christ,

I’ve thought often about the various prophecies I’ve heard of late. I truly believe, as you seem to indicate, that the power of God’s presence will increase with each physical sign of oppression from our enemy. To the point where it will be as though no trial had happened at all. May God bless you and keep you.

Amen. I believe the Lord’s presence and anointing will be so strong on us that the trials will not seem that difficult. God bless you too!
