Hi everyone,
Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve done my blog. I’ve actually been working on three different books, one of which is a daily devotional book. So, I’ve decided to include a writing from that here today. It is a testimony of healing.
A Testimony of Healing
And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment. For she kept saying to herself, if I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health. Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health. –Matthew 9:20-22 AMP
Recently, a woman came forward for prayer at our church, who had been experiencing back pain. When I first started praying for her, I could not sense any anointing. I have noticed over the years that I can tell when a person has their faith level up and is ready to receive and when they aren’t. When their faith level is up, it’s like they are a lightning rod for the presence of God and the anointing flows easily. When their faith level is down or they are closed, I don’t sense the anointing. As I prayed, I began to say scriptures: Thank you Lord that your word says “By your stripes I am healed and made whole.” (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus said: “When you pray, believe that you receive it and it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” (Mark 11:24). All of a sudden, the woman began to raise her hands and praise the Lord and I felt the anointing begin to flow. She began praising the Lord more intensely and moving her back. I felt that the Lord had touched her back. On Wednesday night, she testified that she had been healed on Sunday morning. She said basically, “I don’t know why I struggle to believe, but when Kelly said: I believe that I receive it, my faith kicked in and I began to believe.”
I give the Lord all the praise and glory for the healing. I was just kind of a facilitator that the Lord used to help her get her faith level up and get her plugged into the anointing. Like the woman with the issue of blood, this lady began to believe and say to herself that she believed she would receive her healing. Jesus told the woman with the issue of blood that her faith had made her whole. The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing the word of God. If your faith level is low, I encourage you to immerse yourself in healing scriptures or scriptures that pertain to your need. Most of all, know that God is a good God and He promised to supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. Like one man prayed in Mark 9:24, you may need to say, “Lord I believe, but help my unbelief.” God appreciates our honesty and He will help build your faith to receive what you need from Him as you seek Him. Coming to know God and His character is what builds our faith to know that He loves us and wants to meet our needs. Also, faith does not tell time. If you don’t sense you are healed immediately, continue to stand on the word of God and claim His promises. Leave the timing to Him. God bless you all.

Hi everyone, I changed the name of this blog from” Faith for Healing” to “A Testimony of Healing,” because I hear prayer request all the time for healing but don’t often hear people giving testimonies when they do get healed. I hope this will encourage your faith to believe God for healing.
